My name is Iara Talledo Violani (my first name is spelt with an i and it’s pronounced ‘Yara’).

I joined the University of Brighton’s 3D Design and Craft course in 2021 after transferring from a different university. Here is where I discovered the magic of working with clay and specialised in throwing in my final year.

I am currently focused on colourful sculptures and special effects glazes.

Originally from London, I’ve moved back where I am now on the work exchange at The Kiln Rooms and teach taster classes at Social Pottery.
