My name is iara talledo violani (pronounced ‘yara tah-yeh-doh vee-o-lah-ni’).

I joined the University of Brighton’s 3D Design and Craft course in 2021 and here is where I discovered the magic of working with clay and specialised in throwing in my final year.

Originally from London, I moved back after graduating where I now teach beginners at The Kiln Rooms and Rosetta Arts, and am completing an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art.

I am currently focused on making work exploring my relationship to the internet from the perspective of a digital native.
