My name is Iara Talledo Violani (my first name is spelt with an i and is pronounced ‘Yara’).

I joined the University of Brighton’s 3D Design and Craft course in 2021 and here is where I discovered the magic of working with clay and specialised in throwing in my final year.

I am currently focused on colourful sculptures and special effects glazes.

Originally from London, I moved back after graduating where I now teach beginners at The Kiln Rooms and Rosetta Arts, and have just started MA Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art.
